The GR-IoT hub succesfully participated to the first Mini Maker Fair event in Greece located in Athens. The movement of people who transform ideas into objects with impressive results, which will be gathered for the first time with the common innovation, will be the basis of the creation of the world. Maker Faire started from the Bay Area of New York ten years ago and has grown worldwide with 24 Makers Faire and 125 Mini Maker Faire. It is supported by the largest construction magazine, MAKE magazine.
The exhibition had as main pillars the following : technology, education, science, art, crafts, engineering and innovation. It is already taking place in more than 120 cities around the world, with the participation of inspired people of all ages who create and discover new technologies, inventions, inventions and innovations. Participants, amateurs and professional manufacturers exhibit their imaginative creations and entice young and old into the world of creation.
During this event GR-IoT presented their innovative prototype ETS kit (read more here) and presented also the Athenian community of The Things Network, together with a very interesting presentation with subject “Connecting the IoT world with Lora network” (find the presentation here)
The participation of the team was very successful as it was accompanied by positive comments both for the ETS kit prototype and for the overall Internet of Things promotion.
